Denver Officially Sees First 90 Degree Day Of The Year
DENVER (CBS4) - After a cool spring, the desert air that moved into Colorado on Thursday and Friday was a bit of a shock.
The thermometer in the Mile High City officially hit 90 degrees at 3 p.m. That's the first 90 degree reading of 2016 for Denver.
It's also the first time since September Denver has had a 90 degree reading.

"Find a shady spot, or crank the AC today to stay cool. We should be on the sunny side today, but a few isolated storms could pop up this afternoon and evening. Most should stay west," CBS4 meteorologist Lauren Whitney said.
Fort Collins and several areas on the Eastern Plains officially hit the 90 mark on Friday at least two hours before the Mile High City.
Saturday will be hot again, but then a cold front heads our way on Sunday, bringing us cooler temperatures and better chances for rain.
