DENVER (CBS4)- One person was killed in an early morning shooting in Denver's LoDo neighborhood on Monday. Police rushed to the 1600 block of Blake Street just after 4 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a male who had been shot once. The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The victim died at the hospital.

Police said that the case is a homicide. Investigators have not released a suspect description.

Police have not released the victim's identity.
