CU Lands Two 4-Star Football Recruits In 2 Days
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - For the second time in two days, the University of Colorado Buffs have landed a 4-star football recruit, but this one comes with some baggage.
On Tuesday New Jersey's Yuri Wright pledged to sign with the Buffs.
Wright is rated as one of the top 100 players in America. However, last week he made headlines for the wrong reasons when he was kicked out of his high school.
Don Bosco Preparatory High School expelled Wright after he allegedly posted sexually and racially explicit messages on Twitter.
The University of Michigan quit recruiting Wright because of it but CU did not. He chose CU over both Notre Dame and Rutgers.
On Monday Kenneth Crawley out of Woodson High School in Washington D.C. committed to CU.
