Critically Injured Denver Officer Develops Pneumonia
DENVER (CBS4) - John Adsit, the Denver police officer critically injured during a street protest earlier this month, has now developed pneumonia.
While Adsit and other officers were watching over a student protest on Colfax Avenue, he was struck by a vehicle whose driver suffered a seizure.
He remains hospitalized.
Supporters have scheduled a prayer service for him Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Sunken Gardens Park at 9th Avenue and Elati Street.
