Weld County Jail Allows Inmate Visitation, With Restrictions For Coronavirus
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Weld County Sheriff's Office is allowing inmate visitation again at the county jail. Friends and family can now visit on-site and take advantage of remote monitors in the lobby of the jail.
Only one visitor is allowed at a time in each unit under COVID-19 safety rules.
At least 39 inmates and 22 staff members have tested positive for coronavirus at the Weld County Jail. At least one of those inmates has died.
