Colorado Farmers, Ranchers Receiving Grant Funding To Help With Coronavirus Impacts
DENVER (CBS4)- Colorado farmers and ranchers are receiving grant funding to help adjust to the supply chain impacts of coronavirus.
The newly-formed Colorado Farm and Food Systems Response Team is giving $340,000 to support producers around the state.
Many small and mid-size growers have lost access to customers such as restaurants and schools due to the pandemic.
The fund is made up of donations from Colorado-based foundations and it is still accepting donations.
