Colorado Women Earn 78 Percent Of Men's Average
DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - Colorado women earned about 78 cents for every dollar Colorado men earned in 2010, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Wednesday.
The state's women who were full-time wage and salary workers had median weekly earnings of $719, or 77.7 percent, of the $925 median weekly earnings for their male counterparts, the labor bureau reported.
