More Coloradans Apply For Unemployment Benefits Last Week Compared To The Week Before
DENVER (CBS4)- Last week nearly 23,000 Coloradans filed for unemployment benefits. That is about 4,000 more than the week before.
Since the coronavirus pandemic began in March, the state has paid out $4.7 billion in unemployment benefits.
Nationally, more than 1 million Americans filed for initial jobless claims last week.
