Colorado Springs Church Security Guard Accidentally Fires Gun
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Springs police say a church security guard accidentally fired his gun on Sunday.
Police say the man thought the gun was empty and used the trigger to de-cock it. The gun discharged into a chair and the bullet ended up in the floor. No one was injured.
The man was arrested and given a summons for unlawful discharge of a weapon.
