Colorado K-9s undergo rappelling training in Douglas County
K-9s with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office were rappelled down the side of buildings as part of their training. On Thursday, the dogs were lowered from third- and second-story windows to the ground.
The sheriff's office said the training comes in handy during "real-world deployments."
The K-9s were outfitted with all the safety gear. Some carried parcels in their mouths as part of the training.
