Clouds Over Colorado Tonight May Hide Something We Haven't Seen In 38 Years

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - The last time this happened was in 1977 and it won't happen again until 2034.

But this year, at 4:11 a.m. in Denver, we'll have a Full Christmas Moon.

The December Full Moon is often called the Cold Moon as winter takes a firm grip. It's also known as the Full Long Night Moon as winter nights grow longer and the moon spends more time above the horizon.
