CDOT Campaign Aims To Curb Cellphone Use While Driving
DENVER (CBS4) - As summer vacations kick off the Colorado Department of Transportation is warning everyone to put down cellphones while driving.
CDOT launched a distracted driving campaign that runs all weekend. The agency says cellphones were blamed in 17 deadly crashes in Colorado last year.
The Colorado State Patrol has been out in force citing offenders.
Drivers younger than 18 caught using their phone while driving could be fined and may lose their license.
