Broncos Schedule Released: Monday Night Opener Versus Raiders

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos will kick off the season at home on Monday Night Football against their bitter rivals from Oakland.

The Raiders game will be the first home opener for the Broncos since the start of the 2004 season when Denver defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. It will also mark the 20th straight year that the Broncos will appear on Monday night, the longest active streak in the NFL.

The second game is also at home, against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Broncos have not opened a season with back-to-back home games since 1998.

Other highlights include a trip to famed Lambeau Field in October, a Thursday night visit by the New York Jets in mid-November, Jay Cutler's return to Denver in December with the Bears and a Christmas Eve game in Buffalo.
