CHICACO (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Broncos lead the Chicago Bears 10-9 after the third quarter.
The Broncos opened up the second half with a promising drive after Brocks Osweiler hooked up with tight end Owen Daniels on a 31-yard pass but the drive stalled and the Broncos were forced to punt.
The Broncos defense is looking good as Danny Trevathan picked off Jay Cutler midway through the third quarter. It was the first takeaway for the Broncos since Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
But the Broncos couldn't capitalize on Trevathan's interception. They drove the ball to the 2-yard line but Ronnie Hillman tripped over Osweiler's leg on a fourth down run and couldn't convert.
Robbie Gould added another field goal for the Bears in the final minute of the third quarter.
