Boulder County District Attorney Warns Of Unemployment Scam
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Boulder County is warning around unemployment scams in Colorado. The DA's office said some people are being targeted even if they haven't applied for unemployment benefits.
Those who receive unemployment documents but did not apply for benefits are urged to submit a fraud claim to the state. The Department of Labor and Employment said that it will not contact Colorado residents asking for a Social Security number, bank information or passwords.
