Boulder County Joins Federal Lawsuit Against Juul
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Boulder County is joining a federal lawsuit against Juul Labs. The suit claims the vaping company of targeting and appealing to teenagers.
Boulder County has some of the highest rates of nicotine and vaping products used by youth. Some 33% of teens in Boulder vape compared to 13% on the national level.
The suit names Juul Labs and claims the company used "slick marketing and a robust social media campaign" to appeal to teenagers.
