Bills To Expand Rocky Mountain National Park Await Presidential Approval
(CBS4) -- Two bills that will expand Rocky Mountain National Park are now on their way to the president's desk for signature.
The bills include land NASA astronaut Vance Brand is donating to the park -- 40 acres on the eastern boundary.
Brand is a Longmont native who spent many summers hiking the park.
He says the donation is a way he can share his enjoyment of the park with others.
