Avalanche Defenseman Erik Johnson To Miss 6-To-8 Weeks
DENVER (The Sports Xchange) - Colorado Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson suffered a broken fibula during the second period of Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Dallas Stars.
The team announced he will miss 6-to-8 weeks.
Johnson was hurt when he blocked a shot.
Johnson, who signed a long-term deal in the summer, has one goal and 10 assists in 22 games this season.
