Authorities ID Centennial Park Vandals

CENTENNIAL, Colo., (CBS4) - Police in Arapahoe County say they now know who the suspects are seen in a surveillance video committing vandalism in a park.

The vandalism happened on Feb. 6 at Centennial Center Park, which is located at 13050 East Peakview Avenue.

Authorities released video on Thursday that shows a group of teens drinking at the park in a shelter before one of them damages a camera by throwing a rock at it.

A fireplace and a display case were also damaged by the teens, who appear to be three females and a male.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's office says public tips helped them identify the teens. They said in a statement they were able to do this "due to the outstanding response from the public."

Deputies are not releasing the names of the suspects because the investigation is ongoing.
