Another Man Pleads Guilty For Role In Brutal Douglas County Murders
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - A second man pleads guilty in the brutal murders of two people in Douglas County.
Matthew Plake reached a deal with prosecutors on Friday to plead guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit murder. He received a 48-year sentence with credit for more than a year of time served.
Plake admitted to his role in the murders of Amara Wells and her brother-in-law Bob
.
Prosecutors say Wells' estranged husband, Christopher Wells, coerced three other men into committing the murders.
Christopher Wells and Josiah Sher still face charges.
