Anderson Heads To Locker Room After Injury, Broncos & Lions Scoreless After 1st Quarter

DETROIT (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - Broncos running back C.J. Anderson appeared to get injured as the quarter came to an end. There was an injury timeout but Anderson was able to walk off on his own power and went back to the locker room to be evaluated.

Neither the Broncos nor the Lions were able to get much offense going in the first quarter and both teams stayed off the scoreboard.

But once again the Broncos defense was playing well. Cornerback Bradley Roby got on the Broncos' interception tally board at close to the end of the quarter. That led a Broncos drive and the quarter ended with Denver at the Lions' 13 yard line.
