A warming trend begins in Denver on Sunday
Sunday will be mostly sunny and breezy with daytime highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Our average high temperature is 58 degrees. High pressure will dominate our weather pattern for the next several days allowing temperatures to climb into the 70s Monday and possibly the low 80s by Thursday afternoon.
In the mountains, it will be mostly dry with the chance for a few light snow showers Sunday night in the northern mountains.
It will be windy again on Sunday and into Monday morning across the foothills, mountain passes and the northeast plains with gust 55-70 mile per hour expected. With the warm, dry and windy weather fire conditions will be elevated across northeast Colorado on Monday.
By Friday and Saturday we have a chance to see some much needed precipitation return to the forecast. It will also get a little cooler with temperatures dropping back into the low 60s.
