Trump fires Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner after weak jobs report

The president fired the commissioner on Friday after a weaker-than-expected July jobs report showed hiring slowed with only 73,000 new jobs created, and revisions revealed hiring in May and June was much less than initially reported.
