Sticker shocked Chicago homeowners bring property tax frustration to Cook County Assessor's office

Many Chicago homeowners have been suffering from sticker shock, as property tax bills on the South and West sides have skyrocketed. Long lines formed outside the Cook County Assessor's Office on Monday as taxpayers demanded answers, and said they simply don't have the cash to pay their bills.
