Senate advances President Trump’s bid to cancel billions in foreign aid, NPR and PBS funding
President Trump is welcoming a key Middle East ally to the White House on Wednesday, with Bahrain expected to announce it will invest $17 billion in the U.S., which includes buying Boeing airplanes. It comes as Senators on Capitol Hill debate billions of dollars worth of cuts to foreign aid and PBS and NPR.
