Rep. Jonathan Jackson declares victory in 1st Congressional District

U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Illinois) symbolically passed the torch to Jackson at a victory party Tuesday night. The actual item Rush passed along was in his words, “more symbolic than a torch” – it was an African statue symbolizing unity and community.
