Pope Leo XIV inspires new Catholic deacons in Chicago

Fifteen deacons were ordained Saturday morning at Holy Name Cathedral in downtown Chicago, in a private mass many people called magical, especially on the heels of the selection of a new pope who is a Chicago native.
