Nonprofits say Trump’s public health funding cuts will hurt the most vulnerable

The Chicago Department of Public Health said they don't know what's next, after the federal government abruptly pulled $125 million in funding, as the Trump administration halted $11.4 billion in COVID-19-related funds for state and local public health departments. The move also impacts local nonprofits, who said they won’t be able to provide necessary services.
