Lost Chicagoland Department Stores exhibit open at Elmhurst History Museum
If you wanted to go shopping back in the day, you used to have to go downtown to Chicago's big department stores to get what you needed. Marshall Field's, Carson Pirie Scott, Montgomery Ward; all household names that are no longer here. The Elmhurst History Museum is giving visitors a blast from the past with the new exhibit, Lost Department Stores.
