Alex Murdaugh appeared in court for preliminary hearing ahead of retrial
He's accused of shooting and killing his wife and 22-year-old-son in 2021. Murdaugh will remain in prison serving a 40-year federal sentence concurrent with a 27-year state sentence for financial crimes.
