Would-Be Robber Fatally Shot At Gage Park Business
(CBS) -- An armed would-be robber was shot and killed Saturday night in a Gage Park corner store by a customer.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 2700 of West 51st Street.

Sources tell CBS 2 the deceased is a would-be robber who tried to rob a business. A customer with a conceal-carry gun license fatally shot that would-be robber, sources said.
The Cook County medical examiner identified the deceased man as Richard Gildersleeve, 55.
