Warmer Temperatures, Snow Expected Monday
CHICAGO (STMW) - Snow showers are expected to accompany warmer temperatures that will move into the area early this week, but little or no accumulation is expected.
The National Weather Service is predicting a 20 to 30 percent chance of snow showers Monday -- and snow is likely Monday night.
Temperatures are expected to reach the low-20s Sunday, but temperatures will fall into the mid-teens early Monday when snow showers could begin, according to the National Weather Service's website.
Snow showers are likely Monday night, but should give way to a mix of rain and snow Tuesday as temperatures climb into the low-30s, the weather service said. The warmer temperatures are expected to remain until at least mid-week and little or no accumulation is expected.
