Warm, Windy Sunday For Chicago Area

(CBS) -- It will be a warm, windy Sunday for the Chicago area, with temperatures well above normal.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Advisory until 4 p.m., with winds gusting up to 45 miles-per-hour.

Sunday's high will be 60 degrees, about 20 degrees above normal. There is a possibility of some rain later in the afternoon.

Temperatures will dip to 32 degrees in the overnight hours with partly cloudy skies.

On Monday, the high is 52 with mostly cloudy skies.

The mild weather on Sunday had some folks hoping to get in that last session at an outdoor rink before they're all closed for the season.

All Chicago Park District outdoors rinks are closed, except for Maggie Daley Park and Millennium Park. Those rinks will close on March 6.

Many people were out enjoying one of the last skating weekends left at Maggie Daley Park.

Shauna Campbell convinced her friends to come out and skate and Sarah Tornowsky said the melting ice rink wasn't too hard to navigate.
