Warm, Stormy Weather For Chicagoland

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The heavy rains that hit Chicago just before lunchtime are expected to stay around for the rest of the day and overnight.

Some of those storms could be heavy, but there are no severe weather advisories for the Chicago area.

Heavier rain is expected in central Illinois.

The chance of rain for Chicago for the rest of the afternoon is 80 percent.

Highs on Monday will hit around 70s, and get even warmer on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s--well above normal for this time of year.

The warmer temperatures will stay with us for most of the week, but are expected to take a dive into the 40s on Saturday.
