Two Men Shot During West Side Argument
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded when gunfire erupted during a Wednesday afternoon argument in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
The men, 18 and 19, were part of a group involved in an altercation with another group about 2:10 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Komensky Avenue, police said.
During the argument, somebody pulled out a gun and shot the two men, police said. The 19-year-old was shot in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition and the 18-year-old was shot in the foot and taken to the hospital in "stable" condition.
The wounded men were not cooperating with detectives.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
