(CBS) -- A head-on collision involving a wrong-way driver on the Dan Ryan Expressway Sunday afternoon has left two people critically injured, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The accident occurred at 4:12 p.m. on the inbound Dan Ryan at 63rd Street. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle and a driver from another vehicle involved in the collision were transported from the scene in critical condition.
