Thousands Walk To Support St. Jude Children's Hospital At Soldier Field
(CBS) -- The annual 5k walk to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital brought just over 2,000 people to Soldier Field on Saturday.
WBBM's Mariam Sobh reports despite the chilly temperatures and light rain, people came out.

Organizers say they raised over $205,000 before the start of the walk, and expect more once the pledges come in at the end of the day.
They also say next year they plan to move the walk to September, when the weather is a little warmer.
The annual 5k raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and it coincides with walks in 65 other cities.
