16-year-old shot while walking in Woodlawn
A 16-year-old boy was shot while walking in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Chicago police said the teenager was walking outside in the 6400 block of South King Drive just after 4 a.m. when he was shot in the leg. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
Police said the victim was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition.
Area One detectives are investigating.
