Ted Phillips Envisions A Bears Super Bowl Win In The John Fox Era
(CBS) Bears president Ted Phillips was asked during the team's Coaches Show on Monday evening for his best story on coach John Fox. His response reiterated the expectation for what the organization has in this new era.
"He's the best storyteller, but I can't rat him out on a good story," Phillips said. "But I can say this -- is that the best John Fox story hasn't been written yet. And that's going to be when coach Fox and Ryan Pace and the McCaskey family are hoisting that Super Bowl trophy and adding to the one we have in the lobby already."
The journey starts this Sunday when the Bears host the Packers, though nearly everyone envisions a longer-term rebuild for Chicago coming off a 5-11 season.
