Stephen Hamilton Food Photography

Remember the old Flaming Lips song "She Don't Use Jelly?" You know, the one about the young woman who will make you toast, but doesn't spread butter, cheese or jelly on it, but instead uses Vaseline?

Well, maybe that young woman wasn't just a product of Wayne Coyne's imagination. She could have been a food photographer.

As CBS 2's Vince Gerasole found out this morning, food photographer Stephen Hamilton does, in fact, use Vaseline when he's snapping a picture of a muffin with those appetizing little crumbs on it.

And Vince found out a lot more about the tricks of the food photography trade. Those ice cubes in that tall, refreshing drink on that magazine page? They're not really ice cubes.
