ELGIN, Ill. (STMW) - A van crashed on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway near Elgin Saturday morning, sending seven people to hospitals Saturday morning.

A van with eleven occupants was eastbound I-90 near Randall Road when it crashed for an unidentified reason, according to Illinois State Police Tollway District Master Sgt. Mark Pilgrim.

Seven people were hospitals w with non life-threatening injuries.

Three were taken to Provena Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin while four were taken to Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Pilgrim said.

As of 8:15 a.m. it was too early to tell whether drugs, speeding or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Adverse weather conditions have been ruled out, according to Pilgrim.
