Sad Boston College Basketball Season Capped With Senior Sharing Saddest Favorite Memory Ever

(CBS) The Boston College Eagles had a sad basketball season. They went 7-25 in all, including 0-18 in ACC regular-season play, becoming the first team in that conference since 1986-'87 to go winless in league play.

Their season ended Tuesday with an 88-66 loss to Florida State in the opening round of the ACC Tournament.

Ending too was the career of senior center Dennis Clifford. Afterward, he took to the dais in the postgame press conference and was asked what his favorite college basketball memory was. Understandably emotional, Clifford's eyes welled up with tears, his face turned red and he had to compose himself.

Then he answered: "Going out to eat."
