Police: Man Sprays Woman With Liquid During Attempted Robbery Outside Gurnee Bank
(CBS) -- Police say a man sprayed a woman with a liquid in an attempt robbery Saturday morning outside a bank in Gurnee.
Police say the victim was walking to the Fifth Third Bank at 7500 Rt. 132 at about 9:45 a.m. to make a deposit when a man attempted to rob her and sprayed mace or pepper spray the woman in her face.
She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
No one is in custody.
