Person rescued after near-drowning at pool in Skokie, Illinois
A person was recovering Sunday after a near-drowning in a pool in Skokie, Illinois.
Around 2 p.m. Saturday, emergency personnel were called to the Skokie Water Playground, at Oakton Street and Skokie Boulevard.
Skokie police said first responders began lifesaving measures at the scene, and the person who nearly drowned was stabilized at a local hospital.
Police did not specify the age or gender of the person who was rescued.
