Person Critically Injured In Rogers Park Fire

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fire left a person critically injured overnight in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

The Fire Department raised a still-and-box alarm at 11:10 p.m. Monday for a fire at 1412 W. Chase Ave., a short distance east of the Red Line 'L' overpass.

One person was taken in critical condition to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

The fire was out by 11:55 p.m. Further details about the fire were not available.

The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago sent a team to provide emergency assistance to those affected.
