Partly cloudy day in Chicago with stray showers possible
CHICAGO (CBS) — A weak upper-level system may touch off a few sprinkles today, especially south of I-80.
More humid each day this week, with our next storm complex arriving Thursday with downpours and thunderstorms.
This next system will connect with the Gulf of Mexico for a deep moisture source. Overall, it will be a slow-mover. Rain chances linger into the weekend.
The best storm chances are Thursday and Friday as the disturbance approaches.
Once the low is east of us, instability showers linger on Saturday and Sunday.
REST OF TODAY: EXTRA CLOUDS. STRAY SPRINKLES. HIGH 81.
TONIGHT: FAIR & MILD. LOW 63.
TUESDAY: SUNNY. HIGH 83. COOLER BY THE LAKE.
