Northwestern Student Fights Off Attacker
EVANSTON (CBS) -- Police in north suburban Evanston are looking for a man who attacked a Northwestern university student as she was walking near the school's campus Thursday night.
According to a campus advisory, the student was walking on the sidewalk in the 2200 block of Orrington Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Thursday when two men passed her walking in the same direction.

One of the men – described as African-American, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 and 160-170 pounds – suddenly turned around and grabbed her, then began punching her, according to the advisory. She fought him off and knocked him down, then both men walked away.
The attacker was wearing a cream-colored coat with a gray stripe and a white hat. The other man was wearing a dark coat and blue jeans. The second man was described as African-American, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds.
