Nine Years Later, Mother Continues Search For Killer Of 13-Year-Old Son
(CBS) -- A Chicago mother pushes to keep her son's memory alive as she and police search for a killer.
Lazarus Jones was beaten to death back in February 2007. He was just 13 years old and his killer was never found.
On Saturday, the boy's mother, Pamela Hester-Jones, handed out flyers at the corner of Lawrence and Troy, where her son was killed.

She has been distributing flyers for years, hoping someone will come forward with information.
"It just doesn't make sense to me to not have justice after nine years for any child," Jones-Hester said. "It doesn't make sense. It's like what are they doing? I don't know if my son's file to be honest have dust on it and they may have to blow it off. I don't even know?"
Despite her efforts and a $10,000 reward, police have few leads.
