Man Shot, Wounded In Alley In Avondale
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and wounded Tuesday evening in Avondale, police said.
The shooting happened at 7:49 p.m. in the alley behind the 3800 block of West Eddy Street, police said.
The 60-year-old man was in the alley when someone came up, took out a gun, and shot him, police said.
He was struck in the knee and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in an unknown condition, police said.
As of the 8 p.m. hour, no one was in custody. Area Five detectives were investigating.
