CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was shot Tuesday night in the South Side Fuller Park neighborhood just a few blocks from where a teen boy was shot dead and three others were wounded Monday night.

The shooting occurred at 6:45 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Prairie Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the body and taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in an unidentified condition.

A shooting Monday night in the 300 block of East 53rd Street killed a 15-year-old boy and wounded three other males.

No one is in custody and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
